The new Satcube Ku and Secure terminals for Governments enable users to easily create a reliable and high-speed broadband connection in a minute, just like their predecessors. The terminals feature the same highly intuitive user-interface, guided by our 3-dimensional “point-and-locate” function that allows instant connectivity.

What is new are the upgraded camouflage features such as the dark mode option and the new terminal colors available. When turning dark mode on, terminals will reduce the display’s background light as well as change its colors from white to dark green. The transmission LED on the antenna will also stay off, in order to decrease visibility. As far as new colors are concerned, the main options are Moss and Sand and will be fully available from February 2025.

Security-wise, some of the key improvements that our users will be able to enjoy with the release of our latest software are Screen and PIN locks and enhanced beam-selection. It will now be possible to turn off the screen completely, either after a set amount of time or manually. The screen lock can be used together with a PIN lock, which requires a user to input a PIN code after the screen is turned off. The new terminals will also come with an upgraded elevation wheel, paracord, and a higher temperature tolerance (-35°C to + 60°C).
